Communication
One of my main goals for this school year will be to keep you updated about our fourth grade class. One way to do this will be through communication between home and school. If an experience, rewarding or challenging, happens at school, I will not hesitate to call, email, or write you a note to let you know what has happened. At the same time, please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have. We both want the very best for your child and by communicating, I am confident this will be accomplished. Please write me a note, call, or email so we can work through situations together.
Birthdays! We LOVE to celebrate birthdays in forth grade! If you would like to bring a birthday treat to share with our class, please feel free to bring a peanut free treat.

Friday Folders Every Friday, your child will bring home a folder that is filled with projects/assignments from the week and other important information, such letters from school. Please check the folder and returning it to school each week (on Monday).

SnacksStudents are allowed to bring a HEALTHY, PEANUT-FREE snack to school (goldfish, pretzels, fruit, vegetables etc). We will take a short, five minute break during the morning to eat our snack and re-fuel our brains!

Book Orders
Each month a book order form will be sent home with your child. Book orders are a wonderful way to start an inexpensive home library for your child. The book order prices are exceptionally lower than store prices. I have an online account set up with Scholastic so orders can be made online. More information on how to order online will come home each month.
